Contribute to trackmap.net!
But how?
- Field-check existing track maps. If you spot an
incorrectness in an existing track map, email the map's author
and tell him about it.
- Gather track-map data. You may be a railway employee with
the opportunity to liberate one or more internal track diagrams.
Or you may be someone with a pair of binoculars and/or a train
ticket, and time to spare to draw a map from first-hand
observations.
Scan or draw your map into an appropriate graphics format,
put it on the web, and send me a link to it.
Or, if your new map data ought to be part of an existing
collection, email the editor of that collection and ask which
formats he prefers to have contributions in.
- Start a track map collection for your region/country and
send me a link to it.
If you have (or want to start) a
national track map collection for a country that does not
have one, you can have the domain cc.trackmap.net
(where cc is a country code such as "uk" or "de")
delegated to you at no charge. The only requirement is that you
agree to link to any web-accessible track map (or track map
collection) for your country from the front page
http://cc.trackmap.net/
