So? That is all? This raving lunatic went and registered a domain simply to publish a couple dozen links?
Not quite. I also use it for hosting my own collection of Danish track maps at dk.trackmap.net. Actually, that's what I needed a domain for, when my previous free-web-space provider kicked me out in the spring of 2001. I'd been toying with the idea of suggesting some kind of "track map webring" to the webmasters of the sites I'm linking to. Then it occurred to me that a shared domain would be so much cooler than a webring. The idea is that if someone wants to start a collection of, say, French track maps, I'll delegate the subdomain fr.trackmap.net to him, and as we track map maniacs march towards world domination, we can enjoy having a common naming scheme for our websites.
None of my international fellow sufferers have quite taken up that idea yet, but the offer still stands.
Oh, and then there's also my other link collection, which links to description of signalling systems. That has nothing in particular to do with track maps, but here's as good a place as any to put it.
